MARY"S CHILDREN
Mary's Children is my homage to the quiet heroines and heroes walking unnoticed among us, the ones meeting hardship not with bitterness but with open hearts and a power of Faith that is entirely their own.

The name points to our shared divine origin, to the idea that we are all God's children and therefore equal. Nobody is lesser than.
Mary's Children

Throughout my life I have studied many spiritual traditions, always circling around the same question: why is there so much suffering in the human experience? And how do we move through it? I believe that within each of us lives a quiet Presence, an essence that connects us to the Divine. The people I photograph have found their way to it. Despite facing profound challenges, they carry strength, clarity, and hope rooted in something unseen but deeply felt. These are not stories of defeat. These are people who have refused to let tragedy and hardship define them. There is something in their presence that speaks louder than words, a strength of spirit I find more honest and humbling than much of what we are told to admire.

Their stories get lost in the noise of media and celebrity culture. So this project is also about visibility. About sitting with these human beings long enough to witness what they carry.

"These are not stories of defeat. These are people who have refused to let tragedy and hardship define them".

By telling these stories, I hope to reconnect us with the parts of ourselves that invite us to live with care and more courage, and to make a difference not through grand gestures but through small daily acts rooted in kindness, and presence toward one another. To shift our attention away from the noise and back to what is universal and enduring: our relationship with ourselves, with those closest to us, with the world around us, and with the ever-present Divine.

This capacity, this courage, lives inside all of us.
